SigmaX does not place trades or manage client capital. Shadow/simulated/paper/backtested results are not live trading results. No result is a guarantee of future performance. Human approval is required before any trade.
Research software, not advice
SigmaX is research software and analytics. We turn trade ideas, bot signals, backtests, and execution logs into Canary Cards, cost waterfalls, mutation paths, and transaction-cost analytics. We do not provide investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing we provide is tailored to your financial situation, objectives, or risk tolerance. We are not a fiduciary to you.
No trade execution, no capital, no signals
SigmaX does not place trades and does not manage, custody, or access client capital, accounts, keys, or wallets. We do not provide “signals” or personalized recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Any trade is decided and placed by you (or your venue). Human approval is required before any trade.
Simulated, shadow, and backtested results are not live results
A material portion of SigmaX output is hypothetical, simulated, shadow, paper, or backtested. Hypothetical and backtested performance is not actual performance: it is not a record of real trading and does not reflect real capital at risk. Simulated results are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight, and no simulation can fully account for real-world execution — fills, queue position, latency, liquidity, market impact, adverse selection, funding, and changing conditions. Shadow and out-of-sample results are forward-tracked evidence, not live results.
No guarantee of future performance
No result is a guarantee of, or a reliable indicator of, future performance. We make no guarantee, representation, or warranty that any idea, card, mutation, strategy, or analysis will be profitable or will avoid loss. Trading and investing involve substantial risk, including the possible loss of all capital. You assume all risk of any decision you make.
Honesty about our own board
Our own demo board today is 0 green, 5 blue, 5 yellow, 5 red, 5 gray. Green requires a passed out-of-sample gate — and nothing has earned one yet. We ship the reds and the blocks, not just the wins.
A “green” Canary Card requires a passed out-of-sample gate; many ideas never reach it. Green is earned by evidence, not assumed.
